A peacock in Nehru Zoological Park. I wish I could have
taken a photo with the feathers spread and raised.
Someone told me that keeping a peacock feather in the room
keeps the house lizards away. Don't know if it is true.

Peacocks have the prettiest colors and the loudest voices!
I was not aware that peacocks are your national bird--wise choice. Well, I've had a few feathers in my house and I've never had any lizards here in my home in Minnesota so it must work ;=)!!
