Knock, and it shall be opened to you - NOT !
A huge faux door on a building of jewellers. "Gehna" means jewellery. Jewellery and precious stones business is booming. Within the last 12 months, an Indian company, Gitanjali Gems has bought one US-based company, Samuels Jewellers, and bought a majority stake in another US company, Tri-Star worldwide, continuing the global buying spree of Indian companies.
"There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel." - Bible (Proverbs 20:15)

What an unusual looking building....I like your photos..
BTW, I was reading the comments at Q8 from Kuwait. you had some very really good observations about CDPB. I love your quotes and I am impressed. I can't remember quotes very well...some -of course- that we all know but others...not so much. but I love reading them. I have learned so much from CDPB and I am sure I will run out of things to show eventually but I am having fun now. I know not so much about photography. I am a point and shooter.I am always amazed if I get a lot of comments on any photograph I shoot.....anyway, it is nice knowing a bit more about you. I can assume we will get better as we do more photos!
Many banks and Govt. institutions here, in Kuwait, have huge doors. So it came as a pleasant surprise to see this one (although this one is just for show)
I also like your Bible verses ;-)
Yeap, how true! I'm completely agree with the quote from Bible! Greetings from Istanbul:)
